Having supported hundreds of families, we understand that everyone’s journey is unique—and our approach to support is unique to every family.
We strive to help our clients feel a sense of agency, satisfaction and connection with their births and their babies, regardless of the path labor takes.
Our mission is to help you have a safe, positive birth, lactation and postpartum experience, empowered by compassion, knowledge and informed consent, whether your intention is a medicated or unmedicated birth, whether you intend to exclusively breast/chest-feed, exclusively pump, or supplement with formula.
We work in teams! When you hire our birth doulas you get TWO doulas who share the privilege of supporting you and coordinating care accordingly. That means more attention, scheduling options, and timely support as pregnancy, birth, and parenting unfold. Postpartum doulas are offered in teams based on doula availability.
We offer full-spectrum birth and postpartum support, as well as private and group classes to prepare you for childbirth, lactation, and parenting

Private + Group Classes

The research behind doula support
Research shows that labor tends to be shorter, medical intervention is reduced, and women feel more satisfied about their birth and postpartum experience when a doula is present.

How Can a Doula Help You?
Two Doulas are Better Than One
Emily watkins, CD/PCD (DONA)
Colleen Goidel, CPD (CAPPA)
Why two doulas instead of one? Labor is unpredictable and often prolonged. Birthing parents need assurance of consistent, competent support from a doula who knows their priorities, understands their fears and can anticipate their needs. Our model of care ensures that every client has two partner doulas who intimately know them, and that one or the other will be with them no matter how long labor lasts. The same model applies to postpartum support: New parents benefit from the scheduling flexibility and collective expertise of two dedicated doulas with broader availability during the vulnerable, often-stressful fourth trimester.
