Bella Dorado
DONA-trained Birth Doula - Metro Atlanta
I am honored to accompany families as they cross the threshold into guardianship of Earth’s newest relatives. Bringing life into the world is one of our greatest opportunities for transformation, and I support birthing people and their families as they prepare for birth and transition into those first sweet days at home with their new babe. I especially enjoy supporting feeding support, be it breast/chest, bottle, or a combination of systems; modeling infant care and wearing; and movement wellness for birthing parents.
For many years I was a performance artist, yoga instructor, and nanny, all of which inform my work now as a postpartum doula. As a mother myself, I feel a kinship with each family I support and empathize deeply with the highs, lows and in-betweens of parenting.
When I am not doula-ing, I am greeting trees with my toddler, sewing, crocheting, reading myths and folktales, and trying to befriend crows.
